The First Anniversary

Well, we can't believe it either, but one year has passed since we got married! When we thought were we would be when we celebrated this day, we certainly didn't think we would be spending it preparing for such a big adventure. Since this is our last week here in San Diego before we leave, we decided to spend today with friends we wouldn't be seeing in a long time. If anyone has ever been to the Hash House for breakfast, you know that you are in for a long, but worthwhile wait. For our group of six it would end up being a 2 hour wait in the rain, which we decided would be much better spent waiting in the bar next door. Well, as the hours passed, so did the drinks and anniversary shots that Jace and Charity bought. It was a fun breakfast, but ended around lunchtime. A 4pm lunchtime to be exact, which didn't really play well into our anniversary dinner plans or our plans to remove our wedding cake out of the freezer. So we will have our special dinner tomorrow and maybe a bite of cake today if it thaws. We'll let you know if chocolate mousse cake tastes any good after being frozen for a year.
